Bethany College is proud to welcome three new members to its faculty.
David Naistat will begin this semester as a professor of chemistry. He will teach chemistry and biochemistry courses. Naistat earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he worked as a research and teaching assistant. While obtaining his master’s degree and doctorate in chemistry from the University of Miami, Naistat supervised all of the university’s organic chemistry laboratories. Since earning his degrees, Naistat has served as the science director of Hochberg Preparatory School in Miami, Fla., and visiting assistant professor at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
David Frost will serve as an assistant professor of business. He will teach principles of management, small business management and human relations business courses. Frost graduated from Friends University in Wichita with a Bachelor of Science in human resource management and then with a Masters of Science in management. He has been an adjunct professor at Bethany for three years. He also currently owns an RV and membership park north of Lindsborg in Assaria called Lakeside Recreational Park.
Andrea Ring will begin this fall as assistant professor of psychology. Last spring, she served as an adjunct professor teaching abnormal psychology. Now, she will teach general and cognitive psychology courses. Ring is a 2002 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a degree in psychology. She also earned her Masters of Science in clinical psychology from Fort Hays State University. Before teaching, Ring was a clinical therapist at Salina Regional Health Center.
