The exhibit includes a closing reception and gallery talk on Sept. 30 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the gallery.
Currently an assistant professor of art at Kansas State University, Bernstein has exhibited his work throughout the United States and internationally in London, Rome and Italy. He received his graduate degree in painting and drawing from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2005 and his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1999. He has recently taught at the University of Washington, Seattle and the University of Puget Sound. During this summer, Bernstein was awarded a Centrum Artist Residency in Washington State.
The exhibit is sponsored by the Kahmeyer Visiting Visual Artist Lecture Series at Bethany College.
