Bethany “Messiah” tickets on sale December 1

Tickets for Bethany College’s annual performances of Handel’s “Messiah” and Bach’s “St. Matthew Passion” will go on saleDec. 1.

Handel’s “Messiah” will be presented on Palm and Easter Sundays, March 28 and April 4, at 3 p.m. “St. Matthew Passion” will be presented on Good Friday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets to the “Messiah” performances are $20, $14 and $9; tickets to “St. Matthew Passion” are $12, $9 and $5.

Special rates are available for students, seniors, churches and tour groups.  For “Messiah,” groups of 20 or more will receive the $20/tickets for $14 and the $14/seat tickets for $8. Groups of at least 15 will receive the $20/seat tickets for $16 and the $14/seat tickets for $10. For “St. Matthew Passion,” groups of 20 or more will receive the $12 ticket for $10 and the $8 ticket for $7. Groups of at least 15 will receive the $12 ticket for $10 and the 49 ticket for $7. Groups of at least 15 will receive the $12 ticket for $11 and the $9 ticket for $8.

Music, art or theatre students are invited to attend the oratorio performances free of charge. Immediate family members may attend for $5.
