The Non-Alcoholic Beverage (NAB) House on the campus of Bethany College recently received a grant from the Smoky Valley Community Foundation.
The check will support the NAB House, a major project of Bethany College’s branch of Boosting Alcohol Consciousness Concerning the Health of University Students (BACCHUS). Specifically, the funds will be used for utility and cable costs.
On November 30, Smoky Valley Community Foundation Representative Carol Gusenius presented a check for $875 to sophomore Jessica Thelen, president of Bethany College’s branch of BACCHUS. The Smoky Valley Community Foundation is an organization which addresses emerging and existing needs of the entire Smokey Valley region.
The NAB House is available to any recognized Bethany College organization or club to sponsor an event for all Bethany students in an alcohol and drug free environment on any Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
