Art Department hosts annual sale

Paint Pallete Sarah Hill's paintingLINDSBORG, KAN., May 9, 2012—The Bethany College Art Department invites the public to its annual art sale Tuesday, May 15, and Wednesday, May 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Levin Room in Pihlblad Memorial Union

Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase equipment for the art department and fund the Kahmeyer Visiting Artist Lecture Series. All artwork has been created and donated by Bethany College students taking ceramics, three-dimensional arts, jewelry, and printmaking classes, as well as department faculty and staff.

Bethany College, established by Swedish Lutheran immigrants in 1881, is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The mission of Bethany College is to educate, develop and challenge individuals to reach for truth and excellence as they lead lives of faith, learning and service.
