“I see my role as joining with the students as they journey towards graduation,” says Dentino. “I am deeply committed to student success; in the classroom, on the field, and in the residence hall. My passion is helping students achieve their full potential. They deserve nothing less.”
Dentino comes from Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, Fla., where he has been the vice president for student affairs and dean of students since 2001. Dentino has taught a variety of theological courses and published numerous works. He has been a volunteer football coach for several schools as well as at soup kitchens and Big Brothers Big Sisters. “Dan is bringing a wealth of experience and energy to the position,” says Provost and Dean of the College Kenneth Macur. “He has many years of leadership and management in student life at faith-based institutions.
