Melissa Seacat is an Assistant Professor of Health and Physical Education at Bethany College and has been a member of the Bethany College faculty since 2007. She also serves as chair of the HPEAT Department.
Prior to coming to Bethany, Professor Seacat taught elementary physical education in Leavenworth and health and physical education at Lansing High School, both in Kansas. Her past experience in teaching, coaching, organizing and facilitating wellness programs and curriculum enhancement make her a strong asset for the HPEAT department at Bethany College.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, being active and working on projects around the house.
Professor Seacat earned her B.A. in Psychology from Wichita State University, and her Masters of Arts in Teaching Physical Education from Hastings College of Nebraska.
