Several instrumental ensembles will perform as well, including the Bethany College Lindsborg Community Orchestra, Handbell Ensemble, and the Brass Ensemble. The Bethany Handbell Ensemble, directed by Dr. Melody Steed, will perform fun and familiar arrangements titled Kling Glocken, Kling and Bell Carol Fantasy and the Brass Ensemble, directed by Dr, Jared Chase, will perform jazz inspired arrangements of O Come all Ye Faithful and Silent Night.
The Bethany College Lindsborg Community orchestra, directed by Dr. Richard Koshgarian, will accompany the choir’s on several works as well as perform several selections including Leroy Anderson’s A Christmas Festival. The audience will be invited to join in singing traditional carols. Jultide will conclude with everyone performing Robert Russell Bennett’s popular The Many Moods of Christmas.
