The Kahmeyer Visiting Artist Lecture Series Fund was established as an endowed fund to honor Professor Ray Kahmeyer upon his retirement for 27 years of distinguished service to the art department and the Bethany campus.
The endowment consists of donations from friends, alumni, colleagues, and students. The fund makes it possible for the art department to invite artists to show, lecture, or conduct workshops on the Bethany Campus.
Bethany College Professor Emeritus of Art Ray Kahmeyer passed away on Nov. 30, 2007.
Kahmeyer, who taught at the college from 1967 to 1993, was remembered in a memorial service on campus December 5, 2007 in Burnett Center.
The family of Ray Kahmeyer invites you to contribute memories of times with Ray at raykahmeyertribute.phpbb.net. A scholarship at Bethany College will be established in Professor Kahmeyer’s memory, and memorial gifts may be so designated.
