With four to five classes each, you can earn certificates in:

Each course is taught over seven weeks, and by taking two at once, you can complete a certificate in the time of a typical college semester.

3D Computer Modeling

Get the necessary artistic and computer skills to develop objects three-dimensionally within a virtual environment. You’ll learn the elements and principles associated with quality art-making and the how to animate and create intriguing models set in dramatic environments.

Courses include: Basic Design, Drawing, 3D Computer Modeling, Clay Modeling

3D Computer Animation

Study the artistic and computer skills needed to animate and develop three-dimensional models and scenes. You’ll use rigging and modeling tools to animate your 3D objects in a lit environments.

Courses include: Basic Design, 3D Computer Modeling, 3D Computer Animation (I & II)

Digital Filmmaking & Documentary Digital Filmmaking

You’ll develop a short film using concepts and techniques of pre- and post-production for filmmaking. Camera angles, raw footage storage and editing, positioning, use of light and sound—you’ll learn all of the skills needed to tell a visual story. Study the Digital Filmmaking program or focus on Documentary Digital Filmmaking.

Courses include: Basic Design, Camera Techniques, Sound & Audio for Film, Transitions & Special Effects, Visual Storytelling (Digital Filmmaking only), Documentary Film Techniques (Documentary Digital Filmmaking only)

Web Design

You’ll get quality design practice and computer software instruction to create an artistic and functional web site. You’ll learn design layout and content delivery with the use of image and typography messaging.

Courses include: Basic Design, Web Design (I & II), Principles of Programming

Audio Recording

Gain industry-recognized certification in the use of Avid’s Pro Tools audio digitizing and capturing software. Plus you’ll learn introductory skills for pre- and post-music/audio production techniques.
