| In the biology and chemistry program, you will acquire the skills necessary to investigate natural phenomena in the field and laboratory and learn how to communicate these findings to others.
Students interested in pre-health programs, including pre-medicine, pre-veterinary, pre-physical therapy, pre-pharmacy and pre-dentistry, often major in biology or chemistry. More than 90 percent of our students who have applied to medical school over the past 10 years have been accepted. Our students’ success in medical school is due to our rigorous course work, intensive faculty mentoring and strong faculty/med school relationships.
Through Bethany's unique internship program, Experienced-Based Education (EBE), Bethany science students have studied pharmacology and chemistry in research laboratories, ground squirrels in New York, and rhinos in their native African habitat. Each year dozens of students observe physicians, physical therapists, pharmacists and other professionals through our EBE program.
