More than 160 high school singers from around the state participated in the ninth annual Bethania Pre-Audition Choral Workshop at Bethany College on Sept. 26.
Bethany’s music faculty helped prepare the singers audition pieces for their respective district, and eventually for the 2014 Kansas Music Educators Association State Honor Choir. Mass choir rehearsals were led by Mark Lucas, Ph.D., associate professor of music and director of choral activities at Bethany. Sectional rehearsals were led by additional members of the Bethany music faculty and guest directors.

Bethany Swedes succeed! Our students are confident because of the wide background of knowledge, skills, and experiences they gain at Bethany. These enable them to take on challenges and conquer them.
Dr. Keir Swisher ‘02 is just one example of our successful Swedes. Swisher is the co-medical director of the Salina Regional Health Center Emergency Department as a board certified emergency medicine physician.
Bethany College’s fall student body is the largest enrolled in over 15 years. With 665 students, the student body increased 8.3 percent from last fall.
