The Bethany alumni network spans six continents and 21 countries. Bethany alumni work as teachers, physicians, engineers, lawyers, ministers, and musicians-and a hundred other career fields. It is very common for Bethany alumni to serve in vocations that require both specialized knowledge and human-relations skills.

 Message from the Director

June 2007 Many things have happened since I last wrote a greeting from the Alumni Director. Yesterday was the first day of summer and it is summer in Kansas. The wheat is just now starting to be harvested after a pretty rough spring weather wise. Our thoughts and prayers have been many for the numerous alumni and friends who have been affected by the springs endless rain and tornadoes.   Dr. Robert Vogel and his wife Sally spent the spring semester with us. We have been “Running to the daylight” with a strategic plan to position us for the next president. Much of campus green is completed. Carl A. Swensson looks stunning in his new home in front of Presser Hall The mall of flags is in process and the engraved bricks will be laid very soon. You will have a great time looking for yours when you return for Homecoming/Hyllningsfest 2007 There is beautiful new baby grass and many new flowerbeds to enjoy. Many buildings have gotten facelifts with paint and carpet Presser’s lobby has been updated We educated  500+ students We graduated 103 new alumni Admissions has been enrolling and finishing out next year freshman class The Advancement Office has continued toward another great year in fundraising, increasing the resources of the college to improve and support the education of great students You have answered that call for Dear Ol Bethany The alumni have gathered and participated in a host of activities all across the nation We have a new president, Dr. Ed Leonard III who will be reporting for service beginning July 1, 2007 when we begin “Soaring to New Heights” I think that calls for a Rockar! Stockar! What a great year it has been! Thank you for any part that you had in the success of Bethany this year. We need your prayers, your time, and your talents. Thank you for being committed to providing a quality education to students that go out and make a difference everyday in the world.
