The Bethany College annual fund supports the academic, athletic, fine arts and extracurricular programs that create the total Bethany experience. Annual, unrestricted giving is vital to teaching, service to students, and opportunities for student leadership. Every gift makes a difference in the life of a student.

Annual Gifts Add Up

Tuition does not cover all costs. Bethany depends on personal, foundation and corporate gifts to maintain a healthly budget and a strong future. Annual gifts from alumni, parents and friends of the college enable Bethany to maintain its commitment to excellence in education. A Bethany tradition is the Tele-FUNd campaign. This year it was ran by student workers, they helped raise over $60,000 for the annual fund. Another large part of the Annual Fund is the Bethany in Kansas campaign. This is an annual event for area friends and alumni.

Every Gift Makes a Difference

Together, donors to the Annual Fund have an important impact through annual giving.The unrestricted gifts allow the school to determine where the money is most needed and to apply it to those areas immediately. A top priority is scholarships - 96% of Bethany's students receive financial assistance. Nearly 80% of that assistance is provided through annual sources.  In addition, the annual fund supports books for the library, science equipment, technology advances, and many other ongoing needs for the campus.
