About the Archives
The Bethany College Archives, along with the Central States Synod Archives, are housed in the Wallerstedt Learning Center at Bethany College. The College Archives includes college catalogs, yearbooks, and numerous other college publications and materials relating to the history of Bethany College. The Church Archives includes materials from the former Augustana Kansas Conference and its successors for Kansas and Missouri.
Research in the Archives

Researchers are welcome to make an appointment at least a week in advance to visit and use the archives. Users who make an appointment to visit the archives may see fee schedule for duplications services below.
For those users who do not visit the archives, research packages will be available for the charges listed below. These charges will only be applied if research is successful. Due to staffing limitations, please be aware that archive research requests may not be filled immediately. Even so, the archives staff will continue to communicate throughout the research process.
Bethany Archives Package $5.00
This package includes up to 30 minutes of research time, an email detailing search results, and up to 10 copies. Further research time and duplication services will be charged according to fee schedule below.
Church Archives Package $5.00
This package includes up to 30 minutes of research time, an email detailing search results, and up to 10 copies. Further research time and duplication services will be charged according to fee schedule below.

Photocopies 10¢ per page
Photographs printed on photographic paper $5.00 per 8x10 sheet
Photographs scanned electronically $3.00 per photograph
Research Services
Additional Research $5.00 per each 30 minutes
Monies collected for archives services are used to better preserve the history and enhance the usability of the artifacts of Bethany College and the Central States Synod.
