Trease Signs Pro Contract

Lindsborg, KS—Former Bethany College baseball player, Kache Trease, has signed a contract to play professional baseball for the Fullerton Flyers, a member of the Golden Baseball League.
            Last season Trease had a .370 batting avg., four homeruns and 36 RBIs. Trease stole 22 bases out of 25 attempts on the season and had an 88.9 fielding percent.
            Based in Fullerton, Calif., the Flyers are one of the Charter teams of the Golden Baseball League, a professional independant minor league.
            The Swedes finished the 2006 season 41-14, tying the KCAC record for most wins in a single season, which was set by the 2005 Swedes baseball team. The team currently is ranked second in NAIA Region IV and is ranked in the NAIAs top 30 with an overall record of 18-8.
