Did you know that you can help your college by doing internet searches through Good Search? www.goodsearch.com is a charitable search engine. What’s in it for you? You are able to search the web at a location that allows you to filter adult information. What’s in it for Bethany. We receive the benefit of one penny per search.

We estimate that each search will raise $0.01 for Bethany. The more people use GoodSearch, the more money will be directed towards your college. The sky is the limit!

Here's an example of how much your organization can earn: 100 people doing 2 searches a day could yield $730 in estimated revenue for the college. For free! At the rate that we have currently seen we would raise $560. To date we have $59.72 accumulated from searches. Won’t you join us today? I set Good Search as my homepage. I even link to the Bethany website through Good Search. Please help BC in this simple free way!

We want you to share your news with us. Let us know of important and even regular things that are happening in your life. We will even post pictures. To post your news click here, or email us at greenupj@bethanylb.edu .   The plan is to grow toward on-line communities by decade, but until then we will have a monthly news update.

All are welcome. Hmmm, wondering what that means ~ just click here!

  • 2nd Annual Painting Blitz Gregory Hall Painting – Taking Action!---State colleges and universities may be waiting for the legislature to provide funds for building maintenance, but Bethany College alumni and friends are volunteering to take action to paint Gregory Hall!  We need your help! Painting in Gregory Hall will take place each day from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, May 21 – 26, 2007.  Come help us for an afternoon, a day, or as many days as you are able. Please call Leon or Judy Burch (785-227-3460) to volunteer your work hours on those days – our planning is important.  Please bring brushes (extra ones if you have them), paint rollers and pans (roller pads have been donated), step ladders, drop cloths, rags, and clean-up supplies, labeling all your items.  (Note: Gregory Hall will be easier to paint than last summer’s Warner Hall.) We will be providing you meals and housing as needed, all as a gift to you for helping us spiff up Gregory. You must let Leon & Judy know your painting schedule for the meal count. If you would like housing, please contact Freda Strack, Director of Residence Life for information. Bethany College has begun a 10-month process designed to help the college live up to its full potential. Bethany has contracted with Carnegie Communications to conduct a branding study for the college. The process includes market research, brand-plan development, and development of creative vehicles to help communicate with our constituents. The end result will be clearly articulated, consistent, compelling ways to communicate what Bethany does best to prospective students, alumni, donors, and the community.
