Michele Clark has joined Bethany College as director of communications for advancement. Her duties include managing media relations for the college, editing Bethany Magazine and directing communications and publications for the Development Office.
Clark is the former executive director of the Stiefel Theatre in Salina and has recently worked for Kansas Scenic Byways. Clark, who moved to Kansas from Tennessee, has also been executive director of the Tennesseans for the Arts and director of the Sarratt Student Center at Vanderbilt University.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master’s degree in speech communications from Western Kentucky University. Bethany College, established by Swedish Lutheran immigrants in 1881, is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The mission of Bethany College is to nurture and challenge individuals in their search for truth and meaning as they live lives of faith, learning and service. |
