BETHANY STUDENT WINS EDUCATION HONOR

Bethany junior Darcy Bartz is one of two students chosen as a recipient of the Loan Initiative for Future Teachers (LIFT) education loan provided by the Salina Education Foundation.

            Under the program, talented students from Saline County compete for renewable loans of up to $5,000 a year to help with their college educations. In return, the students agree to obtain a teaching degree and teach in USD 305.

            Bartz, the daughter of Randy and Joyln Bartz of Salina, is a graduate of Salina Central High School and is majoring in English and philosophy at Bethany.
