Joshua is a studio art major, concentrating in drawing, painting and sculpture. His exhibition will include works from all three media.
The work is primarily figurative and explores aspects of human anatomy, emotion and spirituality. His paintings range between realism and surrealism and use a vibrant color palette, while his drawings tend to be more expressive and slightly abstracted.
Some works in the exhibit contain nudity.
The Mingenback Art Center is located at the corner of Second and Olsson Streets in Lindsborg. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Bethany College, established by Swedish Lutheran immigrants in 1881, is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The mission of Bethany College is to nurture and challenge individuals in their search for truth and meaning as they live lives of faith, learning and service.
