“MESSIAH” TICKETS NOW ON SALE
Tickets are now on sale for Bethany College’s performances of Handel’s “Messiah” and Bach’s “St. Matthew Passion” and may be purchased through an 800 number, on line or in person.
Handel’s “Messiah” will be presented on Palm and Easter Sundays, April 1 and April 8, at 3 p.m. “St. Matthew Passion” will be presented on Good Friday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets to the “Messiah” performances are $20, $14 and $9; tickets to “St. Matthew Passion” are $12, $9 and $5. Student and senior citizen (age 65+) prices are the lowest price regardless of location in the auditorium.
Tickets are available by calling 1-800-585-3737; on line at www.starticketsplus.com; at Presser Hall Box Office on Bethany’s campus, open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.; or at the Stiefel Theatre Box Office in Salina at 151 S. Santa Fe Ave., open noon–5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Those needing handicapped seating or specific seat placement should call the 800 number.
Tickets to “Haunted by God: The Dorothy Day Story,” to be presented Saturday,
April 7, at 2 p.m. in Burnett Theatre, are $3 and may be purchased at the door.

Every year since 1882, the Bethany Oratorio Society has presented “Messiah” at the college. The society has performed “Messiah” across the plains, in Carnegie Hall and on national television.
