BETHANY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES TO BE ON CAMPUS The Bethany College Presidential Search Advisory Committee (PSAC) has selected candidates to interview on Bethany’s campus during the week of May 6. The names of the candidates will be announced later, and the public will be invited to meet the candidates, with times and locations being announced through community fliers and on cable channel 13. “There was a sizable and robust pool of candidates for the position that exceeded our expectations,” said Dr. Bill Franklin, consultant with Academic Search, the firm that is assisting with the search. The candidates were interviewed off campus last week. “The enthusiasm the candidates brought to the interview process was energizing,” said Tad Doering, chairman of the Bethany board of directors “The committee, with the assistance of Dr. Franklin, has provided outstanding service to Bethany. With their efforts, joined with all of Bethany’s constituents, the future indeed looks bright.” “I am deeply grateful to the Presidential Search Advisory Committee and to Dr. Franklin for the diligence with which they worked to select candidates whose skills and gifts match Bethany’s needs at this time,” said Dr. Kathleen Hurty, member of the Bethany board and chair of the PSAC. “The next step will be campus interviews—giving the Bethany and Lindsborg communities a chance to again participate in the process.” |
