BETHANY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES STAFF CHANGES
Bethany College has announced several staffing changes in its admissions and financial aid offices.
Tony Booker now has direct responsibility for all admissions staff and functions. He reports directly to Bethany president Paul Formo.
Booker earned a bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University in University Center, Mich. He was previously the director of admissions at Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, Tenn., manager of graduate admissions at University of Detroit Mercy College of Health Professions and assistant director of admissions at Northwood University in Midland, Mich.
Amber Maneth has joined Bethany College as an admissions officer. Her duties include visiting high schools, attending college fairs and helping potential students and their families with the admissions process.
Maneth is an alumna of Bethany and previously worked in admissions at Bethany and at K-State Salina.
Marie Johnson has been named assistant director of financial aid. Her duties are to assist students and their families with financial aid issues.
Johnson was previously the administrative assistant for student life at Bethany and has worked for AllTel. She was enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany, South Korea, Colorado and at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Bethany College, established by Swedish Lutheran immigrants in 1881, is a college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The mission of Bethany College is to nurture and challenge individuals in their search for truth and meaning as they live lives of faith, learning and service.
