The Bethany College Education Department recently was notified that the Unit Accreditation Board of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) granted it continuing accreditation. More>

A partnership between Bethany College and Smoky Valley USD 400 will bring about vital athletic facility improvements in Lindsborg.

Planned renovations for Anderson Field and Stadium include a multi-purpose turf field and a new, widened track to accommodate a 120 yard by 70 yard soccer field.

Work on the project is scheduled to begin May 19, although additional funds still need to be raised. More>

Bethany has formed a cooperative agreement with Harlaxton College in England, allowing Bethany students to study abroad there for a semester or the entire academic year. More>

Beginning as early as fall 2008, Bethany students will have the opportunity to study at historic Harlaxton College in England.

Kansas Congressman Jerry Moran will address the graduating class of 2008 at Bethany College during commencement ceremonies May 25. Pastor Ronald T. Glusenkamp of Bethany Lutheran Church, Cherry Hills Village, Colo., will preach during baccalaureate worship. More>

Two transformational gifts to Bethany College - one a $1 million challenge grant, the other a $400,000 estate gift - will make a difference at Bethany, in Lindsborg and in the lives of students for generations to come.
 
Gerald "Bud" Pearson, a long-time friend of the college, has challenged the college to raise $1 million for the construction of a new Swedish chapel and welcome center on campus. If the college does so, Pearson will donate a matching gift of $1 million.  More>
