BETHANY COLLEGE TO PRESENT SHORT COMIC OPERAS
LINDSBORG, Kan.—On Nov. 1 – 3 in Burnett Center on the Bethany College campus, Bethany students will present “An Evening of Short Comic Operas: The Telephone by Gian Carlo Menotti and Gallantry: A Soap Opera by Douglas Moore and Arnold Sundgaard.”
The 7:30 p.m. performances will feature students Ashley Coffman, Molly Mumm, Sean Boller, Ann Labes, Benjamin Helmers, Benjamin Mordecai, Brandi Patrick and Kimberly Clouse.
Bethany student Rachel Bouza is choreographer, and Cody Whetstone is lights designer and lights manager. The stage manager is Brianna Kaiser, assisted by Kaylene Norris and Bethany alumna Christina Sikora.
The event is directed by Greg LeGault, assistant professor of theatre. Jodie Frisbie, assistant professor of music, is musical director and Daniel Mahraun, associate professor of music, is conductor.
Admission is $5 at the door and free for Bethany students, faculty and staff.
