SINGERS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN MESSIAH FESTIVAL


LINDSBORG, Kan.
Singers of all voice ranges are invited to join the chorus for Bethany College’s Messiah Festival in March.
            The chorus will perform Handel’s “Messiah” on Palm and Easter Sundays, March 16 and 23, at 3 p.m. “St. Matthew Passion” will be presented on Good Friday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m.
            Singers should be 16 years old by April 1 to be eligible to join. New singer auditions to determine pitch retention and voice part will take place one hour before the first four rehearsals. No prepared song is necessary.
            The first rehearsal will take place Sunday, January 27, at 3 p.m. in Presser Hall, followed by a reception. Regular rehearsals will be each Tuesday from 7 – 9 p.m. and Sundays from 3 – 5 p.m.
