BETHANY COLLEGE ART, MUSIC, THEATRE AWARD DAY FEB. 9
LINDSBORG, Kan.—Bethany College invites all prospective students interested in art, music or theatre to audition for performance awards at an upcoming award day.
Art, Music, Theatre Award Day, to be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, is an opportunity for students to learn more about Bethany College as well as audition in their specific field of interest.
“Bethany College offers performance awards for students who major in art, music and theatre – and performance awards for non-majors who participate in classes and activities. So whether you are interested in pursuing a career in one of these fields, or just dabbling in art, music or theatre as part of your college experience, we invite you to audition for scholarship funds,” said Tricia Hawk, dean of admissions and financial aid at the college.
Art students may interview with art faculty members and have a portfolio review. Music students, both vocal and instrumental, are invited to sit in on a master class and audition. Theatre students may audition for acting awards, or show a portfolio of achievements and interview for awards in technical areas.
The event begins with registration for art students at 8:30 a.m. in Mingenback Art Center and registration for music and theatre students at 9:30 a.m. in Presser Hall. For more information about the day, contact the Bethany College Office of Admissions at 800-826-2281 or admissions@bethanylb.edu.
Registration is also available online. Visit www.bethanylb.edu > Admissions > Event Days or navigate directly to a registration form at http://75.18.28.2/forms/art_music_theatre_registration.htm.
