Dr. Charles Englund, Ph.D. Professor of Chemistry Biology, Chemistry Dept. Chair Milfred Riddle McKeown Distinguished Professor of Science englundc@bethanylb.edu Ext. 8153 Chemistry

Dr. Englund has been teaching at Bethany College since 1968. He received a B.S. in General Science from Wheaton College and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University. Besides teaching chemistry at the college, he is also the Advisor for the Prehealth Sciences and a member of the Religious Life Committee. His professional and Academic Association memberships include: the American Chemical Society, the Kansas Academy of Science, the Central Association of Advisors to Health Professions, and the National Association of Advisors to Health Professions. Dr. Englund is a consultant for the McPherson County Hazardous Materials Committee. He has also been a Lay Pastor at the Peace Lutheran Church since 1976.
