Chemistry

I received my B.S. in chemistry from the University of Evansville (Indiana) in 1991, and I earned my Ph.D. in analytical chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997. I then did two years of post-doctoral research with Jed Harrison at the University of Alberta. After teaching for three years at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO, I came to Bethany College in the Fall of 2002. My research interests include capillary separations and microfluidics, gas and liquid chromatography, liquid chemiluminescense systems and their reaction kinetics, and flow injection analyses. I teach General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Scientific Research & Writing, and I am an active supporter of the campus BioChem Club.
