Directions to check your email size

First, please find the Microsoft Outlook version you’re using.

Outlook 2003 Users

Click help

Select About Microsoft outlook

Select your mailbox

Then, right click your mailbox and select Properties.

A small window will open up.

Click the Folder Size  button in the lower left  corner. tab 

The total size of your Inbox, with and without subfolders, will be shown. The size of each subfolder will be shown in the browser window, and you can scroll up and down through the list to see which folders areconsuming the most disk space.

For Outlook 2000 Users

1. Right click on your Inbox.
   
2. Click on Properties.
   
3. Click on Folder Size.

The size of your Inbox, with and without subfolders, will be shown.  The size of each subfolder will be shown in the browser window, and you can scroll up and down to see which folders are consuming the most disk space.
