Wallerstedt Social Science Center, where many Bethany classes are held, is a wireless hotspot. When combined with the wireless LCD projectors installed in several Bethany classrooms, faculty and students can use the latest projection technology and Internet resources as classroom learning tools.
All student rooms in Bethany residence halls are equipped with high-speed Internet connections, and students are encouraged to bring personal computers for their own use. Computer-services staff will scan student computers for viruses or other threats to the college network before these computers are connected to the network.
Computer services will assign students a user name and account, giving students access to the Bethany network and an email account. This account will be the college’s official and formal means of communication with students, and students are expected to check their Bethany account daily.
- Levin Room in the Union and Lindquist Hall in the library are wireless hotspots.
