The purpose of counseling services is to assist students in developing greater self-understanding and to help them resolve problems that may interfere with personal growth and development.

At times, students experience psychological, behavioral, interpersonal and situational difficulties that they cannot resolve on their own, and they may find it helpful to talk to a counselor about their concerns.

It is normal to experience adjustment difficulties, especially during the college years when many changes are occurring. By working with a counselor the student can often get back on track much faster and save themselves a lot of unnecessary distress. Counseling services is prepared to assist students with both situational and ongoing concerns.

All counseling programs are provided free of charge to Bethany College students.

Students and staff in Bethany's Peer Ministry Program recently trained to serve others as they would serve themselves. More>
