Criminal Justice

Before joining the faculty at Bethany as Chairman of the Criminal Justice Department, Professor Admire served for twenty-two years as a District Court Judge in King County, Washington.  as presiding judge of the East Division, he supervised nine judges and a staff of sixty-five.  Previous to being a judge, Professor Admire was both a prosecutor and defense attorney.  He also was an adjunct professor in the criminal justice department at Seattle University from 1977 to 1997.  Professor Admire has been a speaker at numerous state, national and international conferences.  He has lectured at Cergy Pointoise University law school near Paris, France and initiated an internship program for French law students at his court.  Professor Admire received his BA from the University of Washington in Seattle and his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
