Marlysue Holmquist, Ph.D. Associate Professor of Education holmquist@bethanylb.edu   Ext. 8297 Education

Dr. Holmquist graduated from Bethany College in 1972 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She taught 3,4, and 5th grade before completing her Master's in Education and PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Kansas State University. Dr. Holmquist teaches ED100, Intro to Education, methods classes, and supervises elementary student teachers. The supervision of student teachers is one of her favorite classes as it allows her to follow the students from the first, beginning experience to the end of their internship, graduating to become colleagues!

Dr. Holmquist spends her free time with her family, on their farm at Smolan, where she helps with some of the farming, gardens, and raises pygmy goats just for the fun of it!
