Alumni Registration Area
When you arrive in Lindsborg, stop in at the Alumni Registration Area (Brick Street Gallery, 129 N. Main Street) open from 10-5 p.m. on Friday and 8-4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Here you can register and visit with other alums and friends. Bethany College Alumni Council members and staff will be there to greet and assist you — and refreshments will be provided.
1952 Class Reunion
Gather at the home of Philip and Marilyn Youngquist (913 Meadow Lane) on Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. for light refreshments and great fellowship. You are also invited to join the group at the All-Alumni Breakfast Buffet on Sunday morning.
1958 Class Reunion
Celebrating the time they began the senior year of their college days, the class of 1958 will have their 50th reunion during Homecoming. Gene and Gloria Holdsworth will open their home at 630 S. Main to host the 1958 class for an informal gathering on Friday afternoon, followed by a 6:00 p.m. reunion buffet dinner and class picture at the Rosberg House Conference Center. You are also invited to join your classmates at the All-Alumni Breakfast Buffet on Sunday morning.
1962 Class Reunion
Class members Robert Kruger, Sue (Habiger) Dahlsten, Jim Pitts, Phyllis (Liljegren) Newson, and Marty (Ehrman) Nelson are currently planning a 45th reunion for the Class of 1962. Beginning with a social hour at 6 p.m. and class picture, class members will meet at 7:00 p.m. at the Valley Café in Marquette, KS. This class also plans to gather for the All-Alumni Breakfast on Sunday morning.
1967, 1972, 1987, 1992, 1997 Class Reunions
Join your classmates for Homecoming and Hyllningsfest! Take in all the activities of the weekend — and be sure to come to the Football game and sit with your classmates. Afterwards, head over to the reception and All-Alumni Fifth Quarter Chili Feed in Stroble-Gibson. Class reunion photos will be taken at the Fifth Quarter. You can finish up your night with the great music of the Fab Four in Presser Hall. And if that isn’t enough you can continue your party downtown at one of the local establishments. You are also invited to join your classmates at the All-Alumni Breakfast Buffet on Sunday morning.
1977 Class Reunion

1982 Class Reunion
Returning to Lindsborg to celebrate their 25th anniversary, the Class of 1982 will be joined by the classes of 1981 and 1983 and enjoy desserts and snacks at the Ron and Carla Wilson home (204 W.Columbus St.) Saturday following the Homecoming Chili Feed. Child care for this particular eventwill be provided at Messiah Church, and the high school age youth attending will be hosted by the Legacy Students of the class of 1982. You are also invited to join your classmates at the All-Alumni Breakfast Buffet on Sunday morning.
2002 Class Reunion
Levi and Janice Esses (232 N. Second), invite you to their home in Lindsborg following the Fifth Quarter Chili Feed Saturday evening for laughs, memories, light refreshments, and fun. You are also invited to join your classmates at the All-Alumni Breakfast Buffet on Sunday morning.
13th Business Career Conference
Brian Seeliger, ’86, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Business Career Conference. The conference also includes a luncheon for alumni speakers, invited students, and faculty; and three panel presentations where alumni speakers will address six different business topics.
All-Alumni Reception/Fifth Quarter Chili Feed
Following the 1:30 p.m. Homecoming football game vs. Ottawa Braves at Anderson Field, all alumni and friends are invited to Stroble-Gibson for a reception and buffet-style chili feed. The reception begins at 5:00 p.m., followed by buffet at 6:00 p.m. This is an opportunity to visit with fellow alumni and friends and this year’s award recipients. A short program will follow the meal, and award winners and five year reunion classes will be recognized.
Lift High the Cross
Join Bethany students and staff in this Homecoming week tradition of lifting high the Cross of Christ. Sign up at the Gazebo for a time to hold the cross and spend some time in prayer and reflection.
Midnight Madness
In its 15th year, this special basketball preview event on Sunday from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in Hahn Gym features both the men’s and women’s basketball teams in scrimmages. And, there will be shooting contests for the fans. Included in the event are performances by the Bethany Cheer squad and Dance Team. This event is open to the public with no admission charge.
2nd Annual “Willie/Cat” Golf Memorial Tournament
This memorial golf tournament is a 4-person scramble at $100 per person or $400 per team. With a 10 a.m. shotgun start, the proceeds/profits from this tournament will go to the Bethany Athletic Scholarship in remembrance of Bruce “Big Cat” Nelson and Kim “Willie” Wilson, both members of the class of 1975. Athletic Hall of Honor
The Bethany College Athletic Hall of Honor gives recognition to individuals whose performance on the athletic field during their time at Bethany College was noteworthy and exemplary of the high standards for which Bethany College athletics have historically been known. Former student athletes, coaches, or other significant individuals involved in Bethany College athletics are eligible.

Alumni Coach of the Year
Each year the Hall of Honor Committee will consider nominations for the award of “Alumni Coach of the Year.” This award will be presented to a Bethany College former student or graduate who has directed and coached a secondary or collegiate varsity sport team or teams to a level of performance which is recognized as outstanding by those persons associated with the varsity sport. It is the intent of this award to recognize the coach’s role in the successful athletic program. This is the first year the award is being presented.
