JOB DESCRIPTION – CLOTHED MODEL

Art Dept., Mingenback Art Center, Bethany College

 

POSITION TITLE:       Clothed Model

 

SUPERVISOR:           Appropriate Art Dept. faculty

                                       Frank Shaw and Mary Kay – painting and drawing classes

                                       Ed Pogue – sculpture classes

 

FUNCTIONS:              Model for various art classes at regular work study wages

 

                                    Primary functions include:

                                       1) Modeling clothed for art classwork

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø      Modeling for Painting, Drawing, and/or Sculpture classes

 

Ø      Must set up scheduling with individual Art Dept. faculty

Ø      Must be ready for class at appropriate times (not be late!)

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Ø      Possible 2-6 hours/week during school year

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Ø      No experience necessary

Ø      Work Study preferable, but not necessary

Ø      Highly responsible

Ø      Professional attitude necessary toward the class and self

 

Ø      Ability to maintain positions for specified lengths of time

 

Ø      Ability to take directions

Ø      Must fill out and sign Art Dept. Model Release form before beginning modeling for classes

 

STANDARDS  OF  PERFORMANCE:

Ø      Periodic evaluation by the Art Dept. faculty in conjunction with the Art Dept. Chair
