JOB DESCRIPTION – VAN DRIVER

Office of Athletics, Bethany College

POSITION TITLE:           Men’s Soccer Van Driver

SUPERVISOR:  Men’s Soccer Coach

FUNCTIONS:                 To assist the Men’s Soccer Coach in driving Men’s soccer team to away games

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø       Drive vans to away games

Ø       Follow directions

Ø       Additional Manager-type responsibilities while on road

Ø       Be on time and punctual

Ø       Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Ø       10-15 hours/week during fall season

Ø       Commitment to working the entire season

Ø       Primarily afternoon and evening working hours

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ø       Valid Driver’s License

Ø       Work Study

Ø       Have passed, or ability to pass 15-passenger van-driving safety test

Ø       Minimum cumulative Bethany GPA of 2.5 preferred

Ø       Ability to work as a team member with staff

Ø       Highly responsible

STANDARDS  OF  PERFORMANCE:

Ø       Periodic evaluation by the Head Coach
