Pozdravy Friends and Family! ("Greetings!)
Nope this isn't my November newsletter yet - I've been procrastinating on that one, you know me! Hopefully the newsletter will be out in about a week - if you're lucky, maybe on Thanksgiving!
My host parents killed their 2 pigs several weeks ago and I thought that perhaps you might be as interested in this as I was! I didn't "touch" anything, but I walked around taking pictures. It was very interesting and more than a little gross, and my pictures aren't too gruesome. This event really was a community event. I think there were more than 20 people at one point or another at the house helping! There were many laughs, lots of food and more than several toasts (and shots of slyvovic!). What a joyful event!
I hope you will take a few minutes and give it a look sometime!
Today I enjoyed some shnitzel made from one of these two oinkers for lunch!
