Interested in joining a BC fraternity? Take a look at Pi Sigma Chi, Bethany’s organization of the year for 2003-2004!
Pi Sigma Chi was started during the 1927-28 school year. Since then the fraternity has flourished on the college's campus. The Sigs are one of the most diverse groups on campus, having active members with many different interests, involvements and majors. Each year the fraternity complies a long list of activities, community service and donations.
During Hyllningsfest 2002 the Sigs celebrated their 75th year with a three-day celebration. The turnout for these events was fantastic with well over 250 alumni attending at least one of the activities.
The Sigs also have been noticed for our community service, including
· Christmas caroling at BC alumni houses,
· calling BINGO at Bethany Home,
· volunteering at the playground project,
· highway cleanup, and
· promoting Bethany College on recruitment days.
Pi Sigma Chi also has helped raise funds for different causes around the community, including
· Bethany tree-planting project,
· Salina rugby,
· the playground project, and the
· Messiah advertising campaign.
Pi Sigma Chi is involved in many activities on and off campus:
