Prayer for April 6, 2008
On the occasion of the inauguration of Edward F. Leonard III as the 13th president of Bethany College
Gracious God, we give you thanks for the many expressions of your church and the partnerships we share with one another in the body of Christ. Today we ask your special blessing upon our partners in higher education, Bethany College – students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends – and especially upon our new president, Ed Leonard, as we celebrate his inauguration and the life of Bethany. May we together send forth men and women to serve you in ministry of the Word, ministry of mercy, and all the walks of life. To you be glory and honor and praise, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
