On May 22, the Bethany College presidential search advisory committee submitted its final report to the board of directors.
This action completed the committee's responsibilities and obligations as charged by the board.
I am happy to report the entire process was successful. Our candidate pool was very strong, thanks in part to the national connections and resources provided by our partner, Academic Search.
Our committee members were diligent and thorough in their work, meeting all of the target dates on our very aggressive timeline.
The campus and larger Lindsborg community was very engaged in the process. Many attended preliminary sessions with Dr. Bill Franklin of Academic Search, and many more participated in on-campus interviews with our three finalists.
On behalf of the committee, I’ll borrow a phrase of Shakespeare and say, “Thanks and ever thanks” for your continuing commitment to Bethany’s future! Go, Swedes! Lift high the blue and gold!
