Swedes Win Hastings College Invitational Tournament
The team went 4-2, defeating Dana College, Hastings College, Midland Lutheran College and College of Saint Mary. The team lost to Briar Cliff University 9-10 in extra innings and lost to Black Hills State University 3-4.

2007 Swede Softball Season Outlook

2006 Swede Softball Season Review
The Swedes finished the 2006 season 27-19 overall with a conference record of 9-7, giving them a fourth place finish. Although the Swedes made it to the conference tournament, they were eliminated the first day with two losses.

Freshman Sarah Logan, Clay Center, Kan.; sophomore Kelli Noonan, Salina, Kan.; sophomore Darcy Bartz, Salina, Kan.; senior Nichelle Coonrod, Belleville, Kan. junior Ashley Dunham, Independence, Kan., senior Dallas Archer, Bridgeport, Texas; and sophomore Angie Heinen, Valley Falls, Kan., all earned KCAC honors.
