This course is based around an extended visit to several European cities. While in Europe, we will spend some time in guided discussions and tours, and allow other time for you to explore on your own. Classroom discussion will focus on the experience of travel, on European perceptions of America (and vice versa), and on the cultural assumptions we carry with us abroad. |
