Criminal Justice Department Mission
The Criminal Justice Program seeks to prepare graduates for service in the criminal justice system in the United States by offering a value base, liberal arts education in conjunction with professional course work in the field of criminal justice.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Students received a multi-disciplinary study of crime and its causation.
- Completed a comprehensive study of the components, processes and programs of the United States justice system
- Completed a study of theories of society, human behavior and criminology.
- Learning for the student was theory based with a street wise curriculum to facilitate learning about the real world of criminal justice outside the classroom.
