Robinett has served as the assistant cheerleading coach at Hutchinson Community College for the past year. Beginning in 1999, he attended Hutchinson for two years and was the captain of the cheerleading team. Robinett received the Ambassador of the Year award and earned his associates of arts degree in May 2001.
Before coaching at Hutchinson Community College, Robinett was the interim head coach and captain of the cheerleading team at Oklahoma State University. He competed for six years at NCA Collegiate Cheerleading Nationals, with a third place finish his last two years. Robinett was also the men’s basketball strength and conditioning volunteer and a Share the Wealth Peer Educator.
After successfully graduating from OSU, Robinett worked as the sports performance coach at Cris Carter’s FAST program in Coral Springs, Fla. He coached athletes in speed dynamics and jump technique and developed strength programs. Robinett assisted in preparation training for the NFL Combine. He then was the director of sports performance at All-Star Sports in Paisley, Fla. He provided nutritional guidance to athletes, developed NFL Combine preparation programs and assisted college and NFL coaches with specific drills. Robinett has also worked as a personal trainer at LifeTime Fitness and Genesis Health Clubs in Plano, Texas, and Salina, Kan.
Robinett is CPR/AED, First Aid certified and lifeguard certified. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Robinett earned his Bachelor of Science in nutrition and exercise and Master of Science in applied exercise science from Oklahoma State University.
