Biography

Gadwood comes to the football coaching staff having just finished his playing career. He was a four-year starter in college, playing center on the offensive line throughout his collegiate career. Gadwood played his junior and senior seasons for Ottawa University. During his two years at Ottawa, he started every game and helped lead the Braves to two trips in the NAIA playoffs.  In 2011, he was voted by his teammates as a team captain and helped the Braves win the 2011 KCAC Championship.

Prior to Ottawa, Gadwood played center for Highland Community College in Highland, Kan. While at Highland, he started every game in two seasons for the Scotties. Gadwood was a team captain and earned Academic as well as All-Conference honors in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.

Gadwood is a native of Shawnee, Kan., where he was an All-Conference athlete for the Mill Valley Jaguars. He graduated from Ottawa University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in exercise science.
