Associate Professor of Theatre Greg LeGault will direct “Eurydice.” The play features a cast of seven: Eurydice, Orpheus, the Father, the Nasty Interesting Man/Lord of the Underworld, and a chorus of stones–Big Stone, Little Stone, and Loud Stones.

Community members are invited to audition along with Bethany students, faculty, and staff. One actor will be double-cast as the Nasty Interesting Man/Lord of the Underworld, and LeGault seeks a male actor aged mid-40s to mid-50s to play the role of Father, a character who is called upon in the play to build a house of string for his daughter.

Copies of the script are available in Wallerstedt Learning Center for two-hour, in-library checkout only. The auditions will involve cold readings; however, familiarity with the script is highly encouraged. For more information, contact LeGault at (785) 227-3380, ext. 8257, or
