A student’s aid report from the FAFSA may be selected by the Central Processing Center for a process known as verification. Federal regulations then require Student Financial Services to verify certain information provided on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid before federal aid can be disbursed.
If you are selected for verification, you will receive a verification request from Bethany and there will be a note on your student aid report from FAFSA. Bethany will send a worksheet and a written request for any additional documentation as needed.

Amanda McLaughlin ’04 earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry Teaching and prior to returning to Bethany College to work in the financial aid office, worked in financial aid at IBMC College in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She has also taught junior high science in USD 321 at St. Mary’s, at USD 306 at Southeast of Saline, and was a program instructor for chemistry and biology at KS Kids@GEAR UP in Salina.
She enjoys reading good books, watching movies and spending time with her family. She is married and has two daughters.
