Miller previously worked at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs where she worked as a graduate assistant with the NCAA Division II men’s and women’s cross country, men’s soccer and men’s basketball teams. Miller also worked at Colorado Springs Christian School as an interim athletic trainer and taught an introductory athletic training class to high school students. Prior to that she was a student athletic trainer at Northern Colorado where she worked closely with NCAA Division I women’s volleyball and women’s softball.
Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in sports and exercise science with an emphasis in athletic training and a minor in coaching from the University of Northern Colorado. She also holds a master’s of sciences in sports medicine from the University of Colorado.

Graig Nickel, M.D.
ATEP Medical Director

Dr. Nickel graduated from Bethany College in 1987 with a degree in biology. After graduation he moved to Lawrence to pursue exercise physiology and spend the next eight years working as research assistant and exercise programmer in a cardiac rehabilitation facility.
In 1995 he entered the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Aside from his responsibilities as a family practitioner, Dr. Nickel has been involved with the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians as a student, resident and member of the board of directors.

Dr. Todd Herrenbrook, M.D.
Surgeon
Orthopedic Sports Health Clinic of Salina
Dr. Herrenbrook graduated from the University of Kansas Medical Center and received his residency training at S.U.N.Y. Upstate Medical University at Syracuse. His fellowship was completed at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation-Division of Sports Medicine Dept. of Orthopedics. This included a stint with the Cleveland Browns and other professional Cleveland organizations.
