Circulation Policy
Students must present a current Bethany ID card to utilize the collection and check out library materials. Library cards are made available to Lindsborg residents not associated with the College who wish to use the library's collections. Materials from the general collection may be checked out for four weeks and may be renewed online, in person, or over the telephone. Periodicals and reference collections may be checked out overnight. Audiovisual materials, including VHS tapes, are circulated for one week. DVDs and CDs are available to be checked out overnight. Reserve materials are circulated at the discretion of the faculty member placing them on reserve. Popular DVDs are available for check out by Bethany students, staff and faculty only. They may be checked out for 3 days at a time, and there will be a $1.00 per day late fee for each DVD that is checked out.

Interlibrary Loan Policy
The interlibrary loan service is available for affiliated students, faculty, and staff at Bethany College. Materials can be interlibrary loaned through the OCLC WorldCat database, or using the blank online forms. Interlibrary loan costs are not generally passed on to students, faculty or staff. The Library does not accept interlibrary loans from patrons for personal use. Faculty and Staff may use the interlibrary loan service to support the classes they are teaching, or for furthering their own studies in the field they are teaching in, or in the area their office supports. Please contact the Interlibrary Loan Librarian if you have questions. Renewal of interlibrary loans can be requested from the lending library through the interlibrary loan librarian. When a patron orders an Interlibrary Loan and DOES NOT pick it up, they will be charged $1.00 per item.

Library Exam Proctoring Policy
Exam proctoring is not available at Wallerstedt Library. The growing demand for proctoring of exams has become a burden to library personnel. The library is not set up or staffed to provide proctoring, even as a fee-based service.
